En route to $400 million in labor cost savings for the fiscal year, Sprint Corp. plans to recognize an even larger severance-related charge. In a federal filing the Overland Park-based carrier said it plans to pay $105 million more - in addition to its previously reported $160 million charge - in severance-related costs for the three-month period ended Sept 30. The new charge brings Sprint's total severance costs for the three-month period to $265 million.
