Sara Benjamin, of Lee Middle and High School, uses a precision machine to take a tissue sample Friday at Nuclea Biotechnologies in Pittsfield during a field trip to help get students acquainted with the field of biotechnology. PITTSFIELD >> Donning hygienic coats, safety glasses and purple nitrile gloves, the 20 high school students visiting Nuclea Biotechnologies' sites on Elm Street certainly looked the part of lab technicians.
