True, according to a recent study by the Center for Effective Government and the Institute for Policy Studies, two Washington, D.C., research outfits that aren't big fans of income inequality. The findings are based on 2014 compensation disclosures that the companies filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and an analysis of Federal Reserve data on assets in pension, 401 , IRA and other individual retirement accounts.
