Providing 100 N axial thrust and zero backlash linear motion, RS8 rolling ring linear drive nut runs on 8 mm dia, case hardened and ground, smooth shaft. There are no threads where debris may be trapped and cause clogs or jams, providing built-in overload protection if system becomes overloaded. Drive housing is made from extruded aluminum profile, and nut has standard linear pitch of 4 mm; other pitch settings – 3.2, 2.4, 1.6, and 0.8 mm – are available.
