For designing and testing 400G and higher networks on single wavelength, Oclaro 400G Modulator provides 3 dB electro-optic bandwidth exceeding 35 GHz and insertion loss below 13 dB. PM-QMZ device integrates input beam splitter, 4 parallel Mach-Zehnder modulators configured for I-Q modulation, polarization combiner, and monitor photodiodes into hermetic package. Optical response up to 50 GHz enables symbol rates up to 64 Gbaud, while extinction ratio above 25 dB enables complex modulation formats.
