Local sugar industry can survive ASEAN free trade

The local sugar industry, despite the recent decline in output, is expected to overcome the ASEAN free trade, especially with the newly approved Sugar Industry Development Act that is designed to improve the quality of the country\'s sugar at the same time lowering its price.
