Longmont-based UQM announces close of stock offering worth $6.4M

Electronic motor manufacturer UQM Technologies announced the close of a common stock offering, raising net proceeds of $5.8 million. The financing provided for the issuance and sale of 8,000,000 shares at a purchase price of $0.80 per units, for aggregate gross proceeds of $6.4 million.
