Longmont officials, state lawmakers talk RTD, construction defects

Longmont included - voted in 2004 to levy an additional .4 percent sales tax for a group of projects around the Denver metro area. Among the projects in the plan was a northwest commuter rail line from Denver, through Boulder and terminating in Longmont.
