Ultra High Temperature 1,200°F (UHT-12™) crystal-based accelerometers – Model 320C52 as well as Series 357D, EX611, EX600B, and 339A – make measurements with increased accuracy and lower noise during large temperature variations. Eliminating pyroelectric noise spikes up to 1,200°F, crystal technology allows accelerometers to be insensitive to temperature variations. Material can also operate in shear mode, which isolates accelerometer from base strain and transverse measurement errors.
