Labor union UFO, which represents cabin crew at Deutsche Lufthansa AG, on Wednesday called off a planned strike as the two sides agreed on the main points on how to resolve a long-simmering dispute. After "intensive talks," progress was made as the airline has shown some flexibility with regard to pensions and retirement benefit issues--the sticking points of the protracted labor row, UFO said.
