The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality is hosting meetings next week as part of an ongoing project to develop a comprehensive plan for revitalizing the Gulf Coast after the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. MDEQ executive director Gary Rikard says the meetings in Hancock, Harrison and Jackson counties are follow-ups to earlier sessions where local residents voiced their opinion on restoration resources.
