MTA announces celebration plans for Verrazano-Narrows Bridge's 50th anniversary

The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge is turning 50 this year. To commemorate the half-century birthday, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be hosting several events on Staten Island and in Brooklyn.
