In the wake of the announcement that MeadWestvaco is set to merge with RockTenn, several lawsuits have been filed in the past few days questioning the value such a deal would bring to shareholders. The law firm investigations into the transaction have been announced on behalf of MWV shareholders, including Levi & Korsinsky LLP, which has drawn up a class action lawsuit that 'questions the fairness of the sale of the company to RockTenn Company'.
