With Class 0.5 and Class 0.2 accuracy, Maconic Shunt Resistors provide DC current measurements up to kA range. Shunt resistor bars are constructed of high-conductivity manganin, allowing for low temperature coefficient. Shunts are calibrated to exact amount of voltage drop, usually between 50 mV and 100 mV. Measured currents associated with system voltages are galvanically isolated by shunt isolator. Shunts are available for currents up to 15 kA with voltage drop from 50–300 mV.
