Majestic Wine allows customers to buy single bottles after scrapping minimum purchase rule

The wine warehouse will no longer require customers to buy a minimum of six bottles in some of its stores, in an effort to compete with supermarkets Majestic Wine has started selling single-bottle sales in a bid to counter dwindling sales at its warehouse-style stores. Over the next couple of months six stores - including Belgravia in London, Newcastle and Durham - will trial the new policy.
