At 8:36 p.m., the man was struck by the southbound train as it pulled into the Longwood Avenue station, in the Longwood section of the Bronx, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority told CBS 2. Following the incident, No. 6 service was suspended between 177th Street and Third Avenue, police said.
