Clayton Williams has accepted his driving caused the death of PC Dave Phillips and has "extended his apologies" to the father-of-two's family, a statement from his solicitor said. But the 18-year-old, who is charged with murder, maintains he did not intend to harm the officer while behind the wheel of a pick-up truck taken during a burglary and being pursued by police.
