Man cashes counterfeit check at convenience store

A man allegedly cashed a counterfeit check at a BP station on Trotwood Avenue last month, according to a Columbia Police Department report. A cashier at the convenience store told officers that on December 20, a white middle-aged male with a shaved head, about 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds approached her register and asked her to cash a check from Charter Communications for him.
