Man charged with cutting brush at Dorset Quarry

A New York man who told police he believed he had permission from the owner of the Dorset Quarry to cut brush there has been charged with a felony. Timothy M. Sweetman, 44, of Broadalbin, N.Y., pleaded not guilty Monday to unlawful mischief with damage exceeding $1,000.
