Noting the ineffectiveness of "patchwork solutions," NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons called proposed framework for immigration reform released by bipartisan group of senators "a strong step forward toward comprehensive reform."  Timmons also stated that manufacturers believe all ideas should be on table as comprehensive immigration reform discussion moves forward and that they look forward to offering input and recommendations as specific language is developed.
