Linda Dempsey, NAM Vice President of International Economic Affairs, issued statement after the United States and Japan announced an agreement to allow Japan to enter the Trans-Pacific Partnership talks. According to Dempsey, the commitments that Japan has made to address longstanding challenges are encouraging, and we will continue to work vigorously with the U.S. government to ensure a level playing field for all manufacturers in the United States.
