In her letter to congressional leaders, NAM Vice President of International Economic Affairs Linda Dempsey called for passage of legislation to release trade embargo on Cuba. Dempsey cited increased opportunity for economic activity between U.S. and Cuba as well as access for manufacturers to "a market less than 100 miles from our shores." Dempsey also commended U.S. Representatives Tom Emmer (R-MN) and Kathy Castor (D-FL) for introducing Cuba Trade Act of 2015.
