As reported by companies participating in USMTO program, July 2013 U.S. manufacturing technology orders, which totaled $351.21 million, were down 23.6% from June and down 23.6% from July 2012. Year-to-date total of $2,925.12 million makes 2013 down 7.2% compared to 2012. According to AMT President Douglas K. Woods, such activity "is not atypical for summer months" and is concurrent with other readings.
