Marin schools face funding loss as Safeway exits eScrip program

School districts across Marin will feel the pinch of Safeway pulling out of the eScrip program, which funneled millions of dollars into schools. The Pleasanton-based grocery giant “concluded the model wasn't the best fit for our company going forward,” spokesman Keith Turner said in a statement.
