Masco to spin off Daytona-based unit

Masco Corp., a Michigan-based manufacturer of home construction materials, announced plans on Tuesday to spin off its installation and services division into an independent, publicly traded company with its headquarters in Central Florida. The company said it expects to complete the spin off by mid-2015.
