Mascoma Corporation, a renewable fuels company, announced recently that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Veterinary Medicine has completed its scientific review and supports the use of TransFerm Yield+, a bioengineered yeast, as a processing aid in the production of animal feed, which is a by-product of the corn ethanol conversion process
