Massive oil drilling project in Carson is dropped

Before a Carson City Council meeting in March, Frances Haywood holds a sign protesting new oil and gas production. California Resources, which was seeking to drill 200 wells to extract oil from the Dominguez Oil Field, announced Monday that it is dropping the project.
