(Telecompaper) Italian broadcaster Mediaset has filed a lawsuit against in order to force Vivendi to honour its deal to acquire 100 percent of its pay-TV business Mediaset Premium, Les Echos reported. The Italian group expects to win damages of at least EUR 1.5 billion and is demanding an additional EUR 50 million for each month Vivendi fails to comply with the deal, the paper cited a Mediaset spokesman as saying. The paper said the lawsuit was filed on Friday at a court in Milan and that Vivendi declined to comment on the news.
