Meijer expects to sell 8 football fields of Michigan-grown Poinsettias

Meijer expects to sell tens of thousands of poinsettias at its 223 stores this holiday season - enough to fill about eight football fields. All are grown by Byron Township-based Masterpiece Flower Company , which has had to expand over the years to keep up with Meijer's growing demand for the holiday plant.
