Midwest retailer Meijer Inc. has agreed to pay a $2 million fine as part of a settlement with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission over the resale of 12 recalled consumer products four years ago. The Walker-based retail giant distributed recalled products, several of which were children's toys , through a system Meijer operated with a third-party contractor, the federal agency said in a statement announcing the fine on Wednesday, Sept.
