Melville Waldbaum's to be purchased by mall owner Federal Realty

Supermarket operator Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. has tentatively agreed to enter into lease sale agreements for three stores, including the Waldbaum's in Melville, with shopping center owner and developer Federal Realty Investment Trust for $6.35 million, court records show.
