Memristor biocomputers could be made using slime molds

Memristors can take on various physical incarnations: titanium dioxide, polymeric, and ferroelectric memristors have all recently been developed. Researchers from the University of the West of England in Bristol have now created, or rather discovered, memristors in the living form of Physarum polycephalum, otherwise known as the slime mold.
