Designed for rugged applications, MicroTCA Ecosystem includes Air Transport Racks, MicroTCA Carrier Hubs, Power Modules, and Advanced Mezzanine Cards. MicroTCA Carrier Hubs, which act as shelf controllers, feature 400 MHz RISC CPU for low latency. Power Modules provide true hot-swappability with dual 10–36 V inputs and outputs up to 800 W. Modules also include dual Intelligent Platform Management Interface and two banks of 256K Flash for redundancy.
