PIC®16(L)F161X series incorporates Math Accelerator with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID), offering completely core-independent calculations with ability to perform 16-bit math and PID operations. Along with Angular Timer hardware module, features include peripherals with 24-bit Signal Measurement Timer (SMT), Zero Cross Detect (ZCD) module, high-current I/Os (100 mA), and Configurable Logic Cell (CLC). Communications are supported via I2C™, SPI, and EUSART.
