Miken Sports penalised for breaches of state and federal pollution laws under previous owner

Caledonia, Minnesota based Miken Sports has been fined $78,000 by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for violating state and federal law since 1998. Miken was owned and operated by George "Jeb" Griffith and had more than $10 million in annual sales when Griffith sold it in 2004 to K2 Inc. of Carlsbad, California.
