To optimize force density, XMG Miniature Linear Stage features ironless motor that delivers 100% cogging-free smooth linear motion. Motor design ensures that force variation along motor's electrical cycle is minimal compared to typical linear motor stage. With sinusoidal back EMF, XMG stage ensures that force ripple is also negligible. Stage is suited for stepping or scanning motion within microscopes, which require stable velocity or consistent force to move and settle as fast as possible.
