Missouri gets another $3 million for Springfield site

Attorney General Chris Koster said Wednesday that the money was part of a settlement from a bankruptcy settlement involving Anadarko Petroleum Corp. It is in addition to about $19 million the state received in February. The site in north Springfield is polluted with creosote, a byproduct of coal tar that was used to treat railroad ties.
