Work crews from Ahrens have begun taking down concrete and brick walls at Carter Carburetor, using water jet spray to control dust from filtering into the Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club, located at Kingshighway and Dodier in north St. Louis. The work plans and health and safety plans are specifically designed to minimize dust, protecting workers, as well as residents and visitors in surrounding neighborhoods.
