Morning flights out of New Plymouth cancelled

The Air New Zealand website is showing flights after 8am are still expected to depart on time and that flights into New Plymouth are not impacted. plane from Christchurch, which was due to touch down in New Plymouth at 3.55pm but circled the skies for about 20 minutes before a decision was made to divert the flight to Whanganui.
