(Telecompaper) Motorola has announced that the Droid Turbo 2 smartphone, already available from Verizon in the US, will be launched in Latin America, EMEA and APAC starting November and called Moto X Force. The device comes with what Motorola describes as a revolutionary shatterproof display, incorporating Moto ShatterShield technology consisting of five layers designed from materials that absorb shock from impact. In addition to a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, the Moto X Force also features a 3,760 mAh battery offering up to 48 hours of battery life, TurboPower charging of up to 13 hours of power in 15 minutes, a 21MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 with 2.0 GHz octa-core CPUs and comes in 32GB and 64GB variations, with a microSD card slot for adding extra storage.
