A large commerical lawn mower erupted in flames while it was being used on an expansive Bridgehampton estate Friday afternoon. The Bridgehampton Fire Department responded to a reported tractor fire on a Mitchell's Lane property known as Long Pond Farm at about 3 p.m. An engine and tanker truck responded, along with an ambulance crew that stood by.
