The Mozambican minister of Industry and Trade, Max Tonela, has expressed confidence that local soft drinks companies will switch from imported sugar to locally milled sugar in the near future, thus helping to guarantee the sustainability of the Mozambican sugar industry, APA learns here on Sunday. According to state-controlled Mozambique News Agency, the problem for drinks companies is that they insist on refined sugar while the bulk of the sugar produced in Mozambique is not refined.
