Available as standard feature within S94P Control used on multi-axis fiber laser systems, SmartPierce software creates clean pierce point that is same diameter as cut width, eliminating splatter of molten material around pierce location and providing smooth appearing entry point. SmartPierce capability is important in wide range of applications from thick to thin metal cutting. With SmartPierce, slots can be produced in single pass without moving around outside profile of feature.
