Gaddis said "NEMA supports non-discriminatory national policies toward trade in raw materials and minerals" while decrying export quotas and export tariffs as supporting "economic protectionism" rather than environmental protection. NEMA President and CEO Gaddis lauded WTO panel's decision as well as collaborative efforts of all parties involved in dispute resolution.
