At an event on Capitol Hill, NEMA joined national businesses and labor and environmental organizations in welcoming reintroduction of Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act of 2013. NEMA President and CEO Evan R. Gaddis congratulated Senators Shaheen and Portman "for continuing this vital bipartisan effort" and said this proposal's significance could not be underestimated as it tackles market barriers to energy efficiency investment.
