NEMA has published ANSI/NEMA WC 67-2015 Standard for Uninsulated Conductors Used in Electrical and Electronic Applications. Standard covers the following uninsulated conductors: single end and stranded, coated and uncoated copper, coated copper alloy, coated copper-clad steel, aluminum, and thermocouple extension conductors. Originally developed in 2011 by the Aerospace Technical Committee, revision adheres to requirements that were altered to better align with SAE standard AS29606.
