Texas Instruments Inc.'s chief financial officer said Wednesday that the company doesn't have immediate plans to join the consolidation frenzy currently taking place in the semiconductor industry. In a conference call with analysts following TI's better-than-expected third quarter financial report, CFO Kevin said TI was "probably ahead of the game" when it acquired National Semiconductor Corp. in 2011.
