NTMWD relaxes watering restrictions

2014-09-05 00:51:43| Waste Management - Topix.net

Conservation efforts and rains have paid off and the North Texas Municipal Water District is recommending that its member cities and customers allow landscape watering once a week with sprinklers or irrigation systems through the end of October 2014. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires that water providers maintain chlorine residuals in transmission and distribution systems to assure water quality so that the treated water supply is safe for use.
