Narrows pipeline project facing delay

The Upper Narrows Pipeline Replacement Project that requires tunneling under C Street has been delayed two months by tough going through a clay layer, causing possible cost overruns for the project along with continued inconvenience for motorists and businesses. The project that is replacing part of the main sewer line in Victorville that ends at Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority's treatment center near Southern California Logistics Airport originally was expected to be completed in January.
