Nation's Construction Industry Adds 30,000 Jobs in December

According to January 4 employment report by U.S. Labor Department, U.S. construction, nonresidential building construction, residential building, and residential specialty trade contractor sectors all added jobs since December 2011. Heavy and civil engineering construction sector lost 700 jobs for month but added 400 jobs during 2011.
